Joan Montgomery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Montgomery of Mayfield, New York, born in Ballston Spa, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Palmer and Marjorie Palmer (Merchant); and her brothers, David A., Bernard and Carl Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Montgomery; her children, Daniel Montgomery (Kimberly) and Janet Glasser (Laurence); and her grandchildren, Matthew Montgomery, Michael, David Dority, Sarah Montgomery and Lisa Cross (Brandon). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
The practice of social distancing and use of facial covering will be mandated for those attending the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 432 Mayfield, N.Y. 12117 Arrangements are entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
