With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Roe Tinney of Mayfield, New York, who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forster Mead Tinney and Vera Lois Jones; his son Zedekiah Mix Tinney; and his brother Edwin Llewellyn Tinney. He is survived by: his former wife Eleanor Ann Bennett; his wife Jeanette J. Mix Tinney of Mayfield, N. Y.; his children, Stephen Tinney (Wanda), Matthew Tinney of Mayfield, N. Y., Wendy Tinney of Saratoga Springs, N. Y., Mark Tinney, Jennifer North (Shane) and Timothy White (Mandy); and his siblings, Ellen Peck (Robert) of Saratoga Springs, N. Y., Paul Tinney (Karen) of Glens Falls, N. Y, Gil, Naomi Acosta (Guy Gray) of Syracuse, N. Y. and Nicole White (Wesley Price). He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
