With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Small Sr. of Mayfield, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Small and Beatrice Vrooman Small; and his brother Douglas Small. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Decowski Small; his close friend George Small Jr. of Mayfield; his daughter Lisa Wend (Philip) of Rotterdam; his granddaughters, Erin and Elyse Piseczny; and his pet Brodie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
