She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Sweet and Lena Sweet (Hunter); her daughter Teddi Knapp; her son-in-law Jim Hornbeck; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Sweet (Jeanette), Dora D. "Dot" Manaia, Yvonne "Vonnie" Crannell and Luella Lathrop.

She is survived by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Marcais of Mayfield, NY.; her children, Crystal Hinkle (Claud), Susan Hornbeck, Howard Marcais and Arslene "Arcy" Buyce (George); her son-in-law John Knapp; and her sister Marilyn Elaine Yost. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
