It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bartholomew G. Thomas (Mayfield, New York), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony M. Thomas and Pearl M. Shaw Thomas; his son Bartholomew G. Thomas Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Thomas, Frank Kenney, Jennie Snyder, Delores Beaulac, Elaine Thomas and Mary Larkin.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Thomas of Mayfield; his brother Edward Thomas of Holyoke, MA.; his children, Christine Reynolds (Ray), Roberta Thomas, John Thomas of Johnstown, Joseph Thomas of Amsterdam, NY and Anthony M Thomas of Indian Orchard, MA.; his sister-in-law Agnes Whitman; his stepson Thomas Lamphear Sr.; and his former wife Joan. He is also survived by several grandchildren nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
