She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bennett and Margaret Bennett (Davis); her husband Bruno Gurniak; and her siblings, Margaret, Harold, William, Jack, Jane and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Gurniak of Syracuse, W. James Gurniak, Deborah Paige-Renaud and Mary Hallatt (Dan) of North Syracuse; her brother Richard Bennett (Bunny); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Ryan, Beth, Douglas, Nathan and Thomas. She is also survived by her 8 great grandchildren.
