We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Maria (Goncalves) Justo of Mattydale, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maria leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro D. Justo; and her sons, Manuel G. Justo and George Justo. She is survived by: her children, Luisa Mothersell (Lonnie) of Syracuse, Maria Curral (Armindo) of Manlius, José Justo (Annette) of Syracuse and Joaquim Justo (Sara) of Manlius; and her sisters, Palmira Padrao of Lakeland and Adlida Goncalves. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farone & Son INC Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the Farone & Son Inc. Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Church (203 Roxboro Rd, Mattydale, NY 13211).
