He was predeceased by: his father John Sakowski, Sr.; and his uncle David Brunell. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Lasky of North Syracuse; the mother of his child Susan Minasian; his mother Patricia Donohue of North Syracuse; his siblings, Tammy Hewson of North Syracuse, Denise Sakowski of Lockport and Jeffrey Sakowski of Canton; his grandchildren, Liam Williams, Christopher Williams and IsaBella Ibrahim; and his aunt Susan Brunell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
