He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Whelan and Eva Whelan; and his siblings, James, John and Mary Pat Quinn (Whelan).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Whelan (Zube); his children, Patricia Bohne (Mike), Deborah Utano (Patrick) and Andrew Whelan Jr. (Tricia); his sister Anne Slade (Whelan); his sisters-in-law, Mary Whelan, Lillian Whelan and Marlene Abell (Zube); and his grandchildren, Michael, Brian Bohne, Sarah and Brent Utano. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather and he will be truly missed by his family and friends.
