It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phoebe Young Cushman (Mattituck, New York), born in Southold, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Cushman of Cutchogue, NY; her daughter Karen Cushman of Madison, NJ; and her siblings, Priscilla Lyndes of Barre, VT, William E. Young of Southold, NY and John Donald Young of Greenport, NY..
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Koch of Apex, NC, John Cushman II (Eileen) of Mattituck, NY and David Cushman (Hope) of Greensboro, NC; and her brother Robert Young of Hendersonville, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
