It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy P. Cooke of Mastic, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Austin; and his brother Donald Cooke. He is survived by: his children, Naomi Morant, Austin "JD" Cooke, Beverly, Renee, Kevin, Rhonda and Candice Naomi Cooke; his grandchildren, Little Naomi and Baby Lance; his brother Tim; his great-uncle Elijah Cooke (Mack Hunter, Sr.); his cousin Wayne; his brother-in-law David; his friends, Alvin Martin, George Martin and These; his wife Geraldine Yancey-Cooke; his mother Evangelist Naomi Cooke; his siblings, Beverly Ruth Cooke (Bishop Clarence L. Sexton, Jr.), Renee Martin (David), Rhonda Cooke and Kevin Auston Cooke (Karen); his stepchildren, Nicole Johnson (Duane) and Keshawn Scott; his grandchildren, Zyher Burley, Naomi Samcoba, Lance Samcoba, Jr. and Luca Samcoba; his aunts and uncles, Lillie Mae Williams (Junior), Judith Ann Cooke, Janice Morant, Jannie G. Dingle (John), LeRoy Morant (Frankie), James Morant and Bishop McKinley Green (Hattie); his siblings-in-law, Sandra Ferral (Emmett), Gladys McKenzie (Joseph), George Yancy (Cynthia), Marvin Yancy and James Daves; his nieces and nephews, Dana Cooke, Sheena Martin, Brittney Cooke, Collina Cooke, Mariah Martin, Kevin Cooke, Jr., Jelani Cooke and Christopher Martin; his cousin Sam III; his close friends, Mack Hunter, Jr. and Wayne Cooke; his friends, Lance Samcoba, Sr. and Desi Thomason; and also, Willie Morant, James Morant and LeRoy Morant.
At one point, during the COVID pandemic, the Family asked Tim to start a ZOOM Bible Study, especially since he lived so far out and wasn't able to attend Church services with them.
