He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Hartigan and Rose M. Derouchie Hartigan; and his siblings, Rose, James, Edward, Richard C and John.
He is survived by: his significant other Gladys Wilson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
