He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ira and Mildred Agnes Murdie (Burch); and his brother Lawrence Murdie. He is survived by: his wife Joan Murdie; his children, Carrielynn Harvey (Darren) of Massena, Charles Murdie of Massena and Wayne Murdie of Massena; his grandchildren, Austin, Alicia, Autumn, Donnavon, Layla, Alaquin and Amos; his great grandchildren, Issac, Kian, Bralynn and Athen; and his brother William Burch (Christine) of Florida.
