He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brosseau and Isabelle Brosseau (Douglas); his son Scott Brosseau; and his siblings, James Brosseau and Rita McCue.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Joylynn Brosseau (Sandy Pratt) of Cohoes and Jillmarie Brosseau; his mother-in-law Betty Clary of South Bombay; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha Wynne (Bud) and Geraldine Clary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Bombay Fire and Rescue.
