With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pete Bishop of Massena, New York, born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pete Bishop to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Bishop and Ruth Bishop (Black); and his siblings, Morris Jr., Richard Bishop, Claricy Stiles and Debbie Bishop.

He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Fukes; his daughter Katie; his son-in-law Shawn Hatch of Massena; and his siblings, Robert Bishop of Massena, Otis Bishop (Leona) of Lisbon, Gilbert Bishop (Judy) of Ogdensburg, Walt Bishop (Barb) of Massena, James Buck of Africa, Mary Bishop of Massena and Virginia Fauvelle of Nevada. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Grace United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.

“I am so very sorry for your loss. I work at Potters in Potsdam and only new him due to a couple of jobs that Danko completed here. On the first meeting I knew that Pete was a good man. I very much enjoyed the conversations we had during his time working here. He mentioned his wife and daughter on numerous occasions, I could tell he cared deeply for his family. I want to offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends. God Bless you all during this time of sorrow, I will pray for you all.”
