She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schwartzkopf and Mary Fisher Schwartzkopf; her son Gerald; and her siblings, Irene Schwartzkopf and Stephen J. Schwartzkopf.

She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Sheets of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cheri Sheets of Orinda, California, Nancy (Glenn Gunsauls), Peggy Sheets of Hollis and Brenda Sheets of Brattleboro, Vermont; and her siblings, Helen Guertin of Hickory, John Schwartzkopf of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and William Schwartzkopf of Pawleys Island. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley or a charity of one's choice.
