He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Konkowski and Gladys Konkowski (Johnstone); his son Todd Konkowski; and his brother Roger Konkowski. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Olmstead; his children, Melissa, Dennie Ackernecht of Johnstown, Robyn Pryce, Tracy LaTour of Chateaugay, Joseph S. Konkowski of Massena and Thomas Bean; his grandchildren, Kymberly, Karyssa Pryce, Deanna, Karla and Liara Konkowski; his great grandchildren, Preston, David and Kason; and his sister Lillian Klausner of Connecticut. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Massena Rescue Squad or Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
