He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Durant and Elizabeth Durant (Richards); his daughter Tina Durant; his sister Patricia; and his brothers-in-law, Lawrence Troxell of Dover, Delaware and Rickie Hynes of Bombay.
He is survived by: his children, April, Paul Ward of Piercefield, Vicky, Jason Bonno of Brandon and Louis K. Durant (Alicia Hoyt) of Bombay; his grandchildren, Zoey Jean Durant, Kathryn Paige Durant, Tyler James Durant, Victor Earl Bonno and Conan James Bonno; and his sister Nancy Hynes of Bombay. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Fort Covington Adult Center or the Bombay Fire Department.
