He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Nicola and Ann Hazel Blanche Nicola (Blair); and his sister Connie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his daughter Jessica Lynn; his son-in-law J. Eugene Sharp of North Rose; his grandchildren, Steven and Lauren Sharp; his great grandchild Cadence; his brother Albert; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Nicola of Massena.
