It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Lapointe of Massena, New York, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice LaPointe and Eva LaPointe (Villemaire); his former wife Phyllis LaShomb; his son Scott LaPointe; and his siblings, Gerald LaPointe and Lucile Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg and Andrew (Mary Lou LaPointe) of Massena; his wife Eilagene Eagles LaCourse; his son Gregory (Nancy LaPointe) of Massena; his daughter-in-law Jodean LaPointe (Scott) of Georgia; his stepdaughter Kris LaCourse Amundson (Ray) of California; and his sister Nancy LaPointe of Parishville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
