Gale (Massena, New York), born in West Stockholm, New York, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. Planty and Eva Planty (LaValley); her husband Richard Gale; her sons, Ricky Rafter and Terry Rafter; her grandson Scott Rafter; and her siblings, Joyce Wood, Kenneth, Ralph, Lyle and Leon Planty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Dixson (Bruce MacDonald) of Waddington and Judy Hargrave (Lloyd) of Madrid; her daughter-in-law Linda Rafter of Madrid; her grandchildren, Wayne Villnave, Bobbi Smith, Shawn, Sherry Rafter, Nicole and Eric Hargrave; and her brothers, Brice Planty of Cortland and Neil Planty (Linda) of Indiana. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
