He is survived by: his children, Beth Sanborn (Mike) of Ponderay, Fred Winchell (Gwyn) of Knoxville, TN, Cheryl Canfield (Jim) of Massena, NY, Donald Winchell (Linda) of Wallkill, NY and Doreen Wilson (Scott) of Massena, NY; his brother Richard Winchell (Dick) of Alaska; and his wife Betty Grumann. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren.
