We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2023, at the age of 96, Esther E. Smith (Massena, New York), born in Malone, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd C. Sherman and Mildred B. Sherman (LaMay); her daughter Nancy; her siblings, Annabelle Plante and Chester Sherman; and her grandson Dustin.

She is survived by: her children, David Smith of Florida, Ronald Smith (Marcia) of Massena, Al Thomas Smith of San Diego, CA, Valerie Amo (Gary) of Massena, Yvonne Bandy (Gary) of Norfolk and Alison Robinson (Marty) of Madrid; and her aunt Annie Van Kennan of Massena. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
