She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Folgert and Eva Folgert (Gillick); her children, Richard F. Austin, Stephen W. Austin and Mary Anne Hicken; and her siblings, Anne Scherer, Mary Cartin, Bill Folgert and Emmett Folgert.
She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Austin; her children, Patrick, Judith Austin of Brasher Falls, Kristine, Kyran Kelly of Fayetteville, Anthony and Sherri Austin of Houston, TX; her son-in-law Duane Hicken of Norwood; and her sister Juliana Fitzpatrick of Omaha. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, a special cousin.
