It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doreen F. King (Massena, New York), born in Cornwall, New York, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Simon King; her brother Simon King, Jr.; her brother-in-law Hubert Rourke; and her niece Leslie Rourke. She is survived by: her mother Marjorie King (Francis); her sister Nicky King; her niece Lana; her great-nephew Cohen; and her siblings, Martha George, Jennifer "Fanny" David (Sherman), Brenda King, Veronica "Binky" Rourke, Timothy King (Tracy A.), Terry King (Rhonda Gray) and Tracy R. King (Dana Cook). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (100 N Main St, Massena, NY 13662). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Regis Catholic Church (107 Angus Thomas Memorial Road, Akwesasne, QC H0M1A0).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to the Akwesasne Ambulance or St. Regis Mission Church Fuel Fund.
