He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert McDonald and Carrie McDonald (Rock); and his siblings, Clarence, Louis, Roy, Lawrence, Alfred, Floyd, Maynard, Evelyn Patnode, Corrina King, Marie Delaney, Yvonne Penell, Stella Gonyea and Helen Spear.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his sons, James (Heather) of Massena and Bruce (Amanda); his granddaughter Alana of Massena; his son Dan (Tracy) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Jamie, Ryan (Hannah), Kyle, Nathan (Alyy), Christina Maria, Bruce Jr., Francesca and Joseph McDonald; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Kalei, Hunter, Easton, Katryelle and Valery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Trinity Catholic School Endowment Fund, where Don volunteered many hours.
