Owens; his wife Tina; his son Jessie Owens; his stepchildren, Angela and Michael Mercado; his son-in-law John Santarsiero; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Xander, Kinsley Mercado, John Santarsiero and Qa'Dir Holloway; and his siblings, Lorna Owens-Taylor, Joe and Harold Owens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
