He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley "Scat" Gibson and Carleen "Darlu" McDonald; and his grandfather Franklin McDonald. He is survived by: his grandmother Agnes McDonald of Kanesatake; his wife Danielle Paolucci; his daughter Meadow May Gibson; his sisters, Lisa Gibson (Randy Maracle) of Kanesatake and Allix Gibson (Kahetiio Gray) of Kanesatake; his nephews, Caleb, Sheldon and Brylan Hannaburg; and his niece Carleen Gibson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Due to allergies, the family is requesting no flowers and please refrain from wearing fragrances.
