She was predeceased by: her children, Shelly and Lloyd Clough; her boyfriend Gordon Stevens; and her sister Betty Christy. She is survived by: her children, Debra Fleury (Michael) of Potsdam, Susan Davis of Rensselaer Falls, Laura Steinburg of Norfolk, Lisa Burns of Potsdam and Jeffrey Clough of Potsdam. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Belva's memory to the Potsdam Humane Society.
