She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lazore and Agnes Lazore (Jock); her siblings, Arthur, Harold "Skeezix", Ashley, Glenn Lazore and Juanita Ashton; and her godson Wally Jock.
She is survived by: her husband Barney Cole; her pet Penny; her children, Karen White of Hogansburg, Glory Cole (Peter Dibble) of Massena, Cynthia Cole (Dennis Sarro) of Hogansburg, Judy Laffin (Carson Swamp) of Hogansburg, Barney Cole Jr. (Donna) of Boston, MA, Robert "Bobby" Cole (Desiree Finster) of Syracuse, Jordan Cole and Danielle Cole of Hogansbug; her sister Edna "Bunty" Cook of Glendora, CA; her nephew Eli Tarbell of Hogansburg; her godchildren, Alan Cree and Francis "Mimi" Cole; and her friend Julia David. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Akwesasne Cultural Center.
