He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Mitchell and Ann Mitchell (Arquette); his siblings, Ronnie Mitchell, Sandra Mitchell Smoke and Donna Mitchell; and his niece Lisa Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brittney George-Mitchell of Massena and Brooke George-Mitchell (Jayden) of Massena; his granddaughter Harmony; his close friends, Thompson and Dickie; his siblings, John Mitchell (Beatrice), Sharon Mitchell, Roberta Bigtree (Joe), Valerie Mitchell (Jeffery), Connie Mitchell and Charlene Johnson (Richard); and his aunts and uncles, Esther, Joe Jock, Audrey and Ray Wagner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 AM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Regis Catholic Church (107 Angus Thomas Memorial Road, Akwesasne, QC H0M1A0).
