She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Galletta and Josephine Galletta; her husband Albert Horz (Al); and her sister Jean Datello. She is survived by: her son Bryan (Laurie); her grandchildren, Julianna and James; her nieces, Joanne and Andrea (Danny); her nephew Anthony; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christa (Thomas), Alissa, Rachael, Frank, Anthony, Danny Jr., Jonathan and Mia; and her pets, Tux and Stormy. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew and their children she was more than just an "aunt".
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
