He is survived by: his sister Eileen Christophersen (Kenny); and his children, Kerry Sumrell (Kevin) of Woodbury, CT, Dawn Fleming (Michael) of Southbury, CT, Kristine Cherkes (late Dave) of Manorville, NY, Kevin McCaffrey (Nancy) of Far Hills, NJ and Thomas McCaffrey (Melissa) of Massapequa, NY.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
