He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael, Larry and Maureen. He is survived by: his wife Mary McSwiggan; his children, Kevin P McSwiggan, Jr. (Maia), Tara McSwiggan, Kaitlin McSwiggan and Sean McSwiggan; his grandchildren, Kyleigh and Shane; and his siblings, Ethna Trentanove, Daniel and John.

The family requests donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to support the cancer research of Dr. Nicole Lamanna at Columbia University Medical Center.
