He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marletta and Gwendolyn Marletta. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Nina and Joey; his children-in-law, Alyssa (Lauren) and Lyle; his brother William; his sister-in-law Karen; his nephew Anthony; his great-niece Isabella; and also Dominique.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Surf For All, a not-for-profit foundation based in Long Beach, NY.
