He is survived by: his wife Augusta Joachim; his children, Camille Shesly, Laure Khatia and Joseph Sterley; his grandchild Camille Shesly Frederic; his great grandchild Corey James Faustin; his grandchild Laure Khatia Frederic; his great grandchild Lauryn Danielle Crowe; his grandson Joseph Sterley Frederic; his son Vincent Lawrence (Anne Marie); and his grandchildren, Isaac, Ashley and Mariah.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in memory of Joseph Frederic to Stony Brook Cancer Center. (See Donations below.) Born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti in 1938, Joe Frederic valued family, knowledge and principles.
