He was predeceased by: his parents, Irish and James (Bosco); his siblings, John and Joan; his siblings-in-law, Ron Inkpen and Helene Moran; and his grandson Patrick J. Walsh.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his son James; his daughter-in-law Paula; his granddaughter Danielle; his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Wiesiek Kecik; his daughter Laurie Walsh; and his sister-in-law Nora Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
