She is survived by: her children, Darrell, Gary, Cynthia Sandel and Kim Sandel; her grandchildren, CJ, Gavin, Melina, Joseph, Isabella, Nolie and Christopher Sandel; her sister Geraldine; and her brother-in-law Jay Rubin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
