He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Lightfoot and George Robert Lightfoot; and his sisters, Florence and Lois. He is survived by: his wife Vera; his son George H. Lightfoot III (Mary Clare); his siblings, Jim, Christine and Lynn; and his granddaughters, Cecily and Elisa. He is also survived by five nieces and one nephew, as well as their children.
