Cora M. Lanyo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cora M. Lanyo of Massapequa, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Scivetti and Isabelle Scivetti; and her husband Leonard Lanyo. She is survived by: her children, John (Dana), Ann Marie (Mike), Leonard (Lisa), Elizabeth and Justin; and her grandson Wally. She is also survived by her loving siblings, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. William the Abbot Roman Catholic Church (2000 Jackson Ave, Seaford, NY 11783).
