With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas E. DeSousa (Massapequa Park, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Thomas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Thomas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Filomena DeSousa and Herman DeSousa; his wife Diane Bestafka; and his sons, Michael, Anthony and Thomas. He was also cherished by his siblings, wife, five children, and eleven grandchildren.
