Jerry P. Russo Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jerry P. Russo of Massapequa Park, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; and his siblings, Joseph and Frankie. He is survived by: his children, John (Mary Jo) and Lisa DiCaprio (Vinny); his grandchildren, Christopher, Vanessa and Vincent, Jr.; and his siblings, Frances and John. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel (1050 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes R. C. Church (855 Carmans Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
