It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela A. Maher of Massapequa Park, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alexander and Carmela Alexander; her husband Alan E. Maher; and her children, Chris Maher (Carol) and Angel Harris (Jeff).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian Maher (Kelly), Bridget Peragine (Kevin), Kiera Maher (Dan Cordts), Kevin Maher, Meghan Harris and Martin Harris (Keely); her cousin Maryann Bassi; and her great grandchild August.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Grace Cemetery (4750 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Joseph's College Class of 1956 Scholarship in her memory.
