It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Louis Schalk of Masonville, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schalk and Bertha Schalk (Kupat); his wife Veronica; and his son Joseph Schalk. He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Joseph Pasquale), Veronica (Ralph Peck Jr.), Theresa Schalk, Cathy (Richard Shanahan), Tina Campbell and Daniel (Donna Schalk). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joe's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Parish, or to Helios Care Hospice.
