He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford B. Mott and Frances G. Mott; his son David L. Mott; and his grandson Ryan S. Mott. He is survived by: his wife Rita Leonard Mott; and his children, Sherry Vandermark (Kurt), Karen Walker (George), Michele Rowe (Alan) and Henry Mott (Kristine). He is also survived by grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Masonville Cemetery Association.
