He was predeceased by: his parents, George Currie and Anna Currie (Waters); his wife Meta Meinking; his brother Donald Currie; his niece Teri Currie; and his sister-in-law Fran Meinking.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Currie (Lori Paparteys) and Jeffrey Currie; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Currie and Herb Meinking. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
