We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2023, at the age of 82, Mary E. Bender of Maryland, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bishop and Grace Bishop (Barber); her parents-in-law, Ivan (John) and Alice Bender; her siblings, Doris Travis, Raymond and Donald Bishop; and her daughter Robin Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband James Bender; her children, David Bender (Jackie), Tracy Bender (Allen Retallick) and Kelly Morris (David); her grandchildren, Jason Thomas (Val Sheldon), James Thomas (Julie), Sarah Kelly, Liesha Thomas, Hannah Bender, Jachin Bender (Sarah), Samuel, Ruth, Zoe Bender, Zachary Bender (Bridget), Kyle Morris, Tyler Morris (Angela), Mekenzi Hanus (Gabriel) and Elias Morris; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Nicholas, Elias, Benjamin Thomas, Alyssa Sanderson, Ephraim, Rhema, Kemuel Bender, Jasiah Facey, Prince, Yasmine Martin, Jack and Maeve Bender; her niece Sue; and her nephew Tom Haron. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
