She is survived by: her parents, Antimo Cioppa and Theresa Capuano Cioppa; her husband Carl A. Larson; her children, Peter Larson of Durham, Beth Stephens of Hickory, Robert Larson (Elizabeth Hodgson) of Raleigh, Timothy Larson of Hickory and Mark Larson (Vicky) of Raleigh; her siblings, Reverend John Cioppa of Maryknoll and Joanne Cobart of Albany; her grandchildren, Kate York (Nathan) of Mooresville, Carl E. Larson (Liz Walter) of Raleigh, Max Larson of Raleigh, Nicholas Larson of Atlanta, Timothy John and Thor Larson of Okinawa Japan; and also, Wesley, Clifton and Port. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to the Maryvale Sisters, 2522 June Bug Road, Vale, NC 28168 OR the Marianne and Carl Larson Scholarship at Penland School of Crafts, 67 Doras Trail, Bakersville, NC 28705.
