He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Teachout and Marion J. Teachout; his wife Marian "Sally" Walker Teachout; his son Steven R. Teachout; and his brothers, Curtis and Stuart Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Eileen Teachout Smith (David) of Syracuse and Marc J. Teachout of Martville; his daughter-in-law Kathy Teachout (Dunsmoor) of Romulus, NY; and his grandchildren, Dr. Stephanie Teachout (Michael Ferguson), Jeffrey Teachout, Tyler Teachout, Marcus Teachout, Carley Teachout and Mackenzie Teachout.
