Mary Roes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Roes of Martinsburg, New York, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Elmer; her siblings-in-law, Gladys Nafziger, Merlin Roggie and Anthony Zehr; and her parents, Joseph Nafziger and Rose Widrick Nafziger.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia (Nevin Moser), David (Marcia Roes), Dannie (Yvonne Roes), Jane (Harold Yoder), Dale (Connie Roes) and Darwin (Lori Roes); her sisters, Arlene Zehr of Croghan and Doris Roggie of Croghan; her former husband Nelson L. Roes; and her husband Haitian. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid, a memorial service will be held in the spring at Naumburg Mennonite Church, with burial in Naumburg Mennonite Cemetery.
